Berde Renewables Solar Awards 2025 highlight the company’s strong growth and clean energy leadership
Berde Renewables strengthens its lead in the clean energy sector with rapid growth, regional expansion, and multiple recognitions at the Solar Quarter Week PH 2025 Leadership Awards.
The Philippine renewable energy firm, backed by global investor I Squared Capital, now stands among Southeast Asia’s top clean power developers. With $50 billion in assets under management, I Squared’s backing has allowed Berde to scale up its footprint fast.
In the Philippines, Berde secured 47 MW of solar projects, with 31 MW under construction and a 210 MW active pipeline. The company also partnered with Thailand’s Power Systems and Solutions Co. Ltd. to co-develop 300 MW of solar projects over three years.
Its strong performance earned Berde four major industry recognitions, including Solar Company of the Year: Developer, cementing its status as a top driver of renewable energy across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.

Berde continues to build partnerships with property owners, businesses, and co-developers to grow solar capacity nationwide through rooftop and utility-scale projects. Since its founding, it has created over 500 jobs and expanded across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
In Mindanao, Berde strengthened ties with the DOE, BOI, and BARMM to promote inclusive clean energy growth. The company’s Thailand joint venture and 8.4 MWp solar PPA with KCC Malls and Biotech Farms also received the Best Solar Project Deal award.

Internally, Berde’s teams also excelled. The Commercial & Development Division won Best Sales Team of the Year for securing 47 MWp in solar capacity. The Asset Operations Division was named Best Design Team of the Year for excellence in engineering and design.
