Be One of the First Moviegoers to Head to Nakali! “Forgotten Island” Reveals Nationwide Sneak Screenings on September 19 and 20

The hype is at an all-time high as “Forgotten Island” reveals sneak screenings across the Philippines ahead of its September 23 release. The DreamWorks Animation original centered on Filipino culture will be showing in cinemas on September 19 and 20, the Philippines being the first country to release the film in theaters.
“Forgotten Island” pays homage to the country that inspired the film with an amazing roster of Filipino artists and musicians. Liza Soberano and H.E.R. star as main characters Jo and Raissa, and among the supporting cast are Manny Jacinto, Lea Salonga, Dolly de Leon, and Jo Koy.
The soundtrack features incredible homegrown talent such as P-pop groups SB19 and BINI, Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza, Ruby Ibarra, Carl Angelo, as well as songs from cast members Lea Salonga, H.E.R., and Liza Soberano.

“Forgotten Island” is a story of Jo and Raissa, two lifelong best friends whose lives begin different paths. As they spend their last night together, they encounter a portal to the mysterious island of Nakali. A mythical place they heard tales of from their families, the island is full of creatures both friendly and terrifying. As they explore, they realise that memories of their friendship are fading, and they need to escape before they forget each other forever.
