Giving heART campaign celebrates art and generosity

The University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), together with Phildiz Studios and Galerie Joaquin, recently staged the Giving heART Preview Night at the Celestino M. Dizon Auditorium. The event highlighted how art and generosity can come together to preserve a cultural landmark.

For more than three decades, the Dizon Auditorium has served as the heart of UA&P campus life. It has hosted concerts, plays, forums, and milestones that shaped generations of students. The Giving heART campaign transforms art into a fundraiser, ensuring this space remains a venue for culture, learning, and community.

Guests at the preview were treated to a first look at limited-edition photographs by UA&P alumnus Philip Dizon, along with select works from Galerie Joaquin. Each piece celebrated Filipino artistry while supporting a worthy cause.

The campaign continues with the Giving heART Culminating Event on September 26, 2025, at the auditorium. Donation stub holders will receive special tokens, and winning bids from the silent auction will be announced.

Those who missed the preview can still take part. Silent auction bids may be placed until September 26, 6:30 p.m., via https://bit.ly/givingheartsept2025. Donation stubs worth ₱25,000, ₱50,000, ₱100,000, or ₱200,000 also come with artworks as tokens of appreciation. In addition, artworks by Philip Dizon are available through a digital catalogue at https://bit.ly/givingheart2025 until October 31, 2025.

Every contribution strengthens the campaign’s goal of preserving the auditorium as a living space for education, culture, and community.
