AirAsia Philippines has announced the cancellation of several flights to and from Manila scheduled for July 23, 2025, due to continuous heavy rainfall brought by the southwest monsoon or “habagat.”

The following flights have been cancelled:

“With continuous heavy rain brought by the southwest monsoon affecting Manila and nearby provinces, and in close coordination with aviation authorities, we’ve taken early precautionary steps to cancel select flights to keep our guests and crew safe, as always,” said AirAsia Philippines Communications & Corporate Affairs Head and First Officer Steve Dailisan.

AirAsia assures all affected passengers that they have been notified through SMS and email, and are entitled to the following Standard Recovery Options (SRO):

  1. One-time Free Flight Change – Rebook to a new date within 30 days of the original flight without additional cost (subject to seat availability).
  2. Credit Account – Retain the booking value in their AirAsia member account for future use, valid for redemption within two years.
  3. Full Refund – Receive a full refund through the original payment method via AskBo on support.airasia.com. Guests who booked through travel agents should process refunds through their respective agents.

Passengers may rebook their flights through the self-service link in the email or by contacting AskBo.

AirAsia Philippines encourages everyone to stay updated by regularly visiting airasia.com/flightstatus for any new advisories.
