SM Malls in Marikina, Masinag and San Mateo Introduce Three Christmas Worlds This October

SM City Marikina, SM City Masinag and SM City San Mateo are preparing to unveil distinct Christmas displays this October, giving families three themed destinations to explore in the East Metro area.

Part of Super Magical Christmas at SM, the seasonal installations range from a glowing woodland and pastel candyland to a Christmas campsite. Each setting features its own character, alongside planned Santa Claus appearances and the introduction of this year’s Besties of Joy collectibles.

For families planning a holiday outing, the three themes offer different backdrops for photos and time together.

SM City Marikina: Holiday Twinklewoods

At SM City Marikina, Holiday Twinklewoods takes inspiration from a storybook forest.

The display combines glowing Christmas trees, mushrooms and woodland details, with Mika, the mall’s official character, leading the theme.

The setting brings a nature-inspired direction to the Christmas centerpiece, creating a place for visitors to stop and take photos during their mall visit.

SM City Masinag: Macy’s Holiday Candyland

SM City Masinag takes a sweeter approach with Macy’s Holiday Candyland.

Candy-inspired decorations, pastel Christmas trees, ornaments and giant lollipops make up the display. Macy serves as the character at the center of the theme.

For visitors choosing a backdrop for a family picture, the installation offers a colorful alternative to traditional red-and-green holiday decorations.

SM City San Mateo: Matt’s Christmas Camp

At SM City San Mateo, Matt’s Christmas Camp brings an outdoor-inspired concept indoors.

The setting features a festive tree, a cozy campfire scene and cheerful companions, with Matt leading the Christmas adventure.

Its camping theme gives the display a gathering-place atmosphere, fitting the season’s emphasis on spending time with family and friends.
