Disney and Pixar’S Toy Story Takes over Skai with a Sky-High High Tea in Singapore

Swissôtel The Stamford brings Woody, Buzz Lightyear and other Toy Story favorites to life through a limited-time high tea at SKAI and a themed family staycation.
More than three decades after Woody and Buzz Lightyear first became unlikely friends, Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story continues to connect with families across generations.
This September, that familiar story of friendship and adventure is taking a culinary turn at SKAI, located on the 70th floor of Swissôtel The Stamford in Singapore.
The restaurant is launching a limited-time Toy Story-inspired High Tea featuring sweet and savoury creations based on characters including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Lotso, Rex, the Aliens and more.
Beyond the dining experience, Swissôtel The Stamford is also extending the theme into select hotel rooms through a special staycation package designed for families and fans.
Toy Story Characters Reimagined Through Food
Created by Director of Culinary Nicholas Issel and Executive Pastry Chef Yong Ming Choong, the menu combines playful storytelling with SKAI’s contemporary culinary approach.
The sweet selection starts with Space Ranger, inspired by Buzz Lightyear, featuring berry velvet sponge layered with mixed berry compote and cream cheese frosting.
Woody takes center stage in Cowboy Chocolate, made with Caraïbe 66% chocolate and crisp hazelnut feuilletine, complete with cowboy-inspired details.
Lots O’ Berry, meanwhile, pays tribute to Lotso through pandan sponge, strawberry compote, Chantilly cream and raspberry chocolate.
One of the more intricate creations is The Claw’s Choice, inspired by the Aliens. The pastry combines a delicate matcha choux with house-made orange marmalade.
Jessie and Bullseye inspire Golden Gallop, which brings together Alfonso mango sorbet, fresh blueberries and buttery crumble.
Warm raisin scones served with Devonshire cream and preserves complete the sweet selection.
Savoury Bites Join the Adventure

The character references continue through SKAI’s savoury offerings.
Potato Head Royale, inspired by Mr. Potato Head, combines smoked russet potato, Comté gougère, black truffle and N25 caviar.
Slinky Dog inspires Pretzel Stretch, featuring a Wagyu beef smokie served in pretzel brioche with sauerkraut and onion fondue.
Golden Orchard, inspired by Hamm, pairs smoked duck mousse with honey apple gel and savoury duck crackling.
Rex gets his own Asian-inspired creation through Tropical Roar, a take on the bolo pineapple bun prepared with pandan mascarpone.
Completing the savoury selection is Garden Harvest, inspired by the Peas in a Pod and made with fresh pea puree, savoury crackers, parma ham, cucumber and feta cream cheese.
Drinks Inspired by Woody and the Aliens
Guests can pair the high tea with one of two handcrafted non-alcoholic cocktails.
Little Green Glow, themed after the Aliens, combines mint cordial, cucumber, citrus and blue curaçao syrup.
The Woody-inspired Sheriff’s Star Splash blends jasmine tea cold brew with citrus, honey and ginger ale, finished with foam and a cowboy hat detail.
With SKAI overlooking Singapore from the 70th floor, the experience brings the characters into a setting made for family celebrations, afternoon gatherings and travelers looking for something different to add to their Singapore itinerary.
A Toy Story Staycation at Swissôtel The Stamford
The experience continues beyond SKAI through a Toy Story-inspired staycation at Swissôtel The Stamford.
Select rooms will feature playful themed touches and special keepsakes, while guests can enjoy priority reservations for the Toy Story High Tea, breakfast for two adults and two children, and access to a Disney-themed merchandise pop-up at the hotel’s Level 2 Atrium.
For William J. Haandrikman, Managing Director at Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford, part of the experience is about introducing a familiar story to another generation.
He recalled watching the original Toy Story when it was released and seeing how the franchise continues to capture the imagination of families today.
Following the response to the hotel’s previous Winnie the Pooh-themed collaboration, the team saw Toy Story as another opportunity to combine dining, storytelling and a shared family experience.
High Tea Prices and Schedule
The Toy Story-inspired High Tea at SKAI will be available daily from September 1 to 30, 2026, from 12:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The experience is priced at S$78++ per adult and includes one handcrafted non-alcoholic cocktail, along with a choice of TWG Tea or gourmet coffee.
The Toy Story-themed Staycation Package will be available for stays from September 3 to November 30, 2026, subject to availability and blackout dates.
High Tea reservations may be made through SKAI, while room reservations are available through Swissôtel The Stamford.
For families who grew up with Woody and Buzz — and a younger generation discovering their adventures for the first time — the experience gives Toy Story another setting in which to bring people together.
This time, it happens 70 floors above Singapore.
