Kids all over the world love PAW Patrol because it inspires them to never give up,” says Heyden Chemberlen, who voices Rex, a beloved pup who is making his big screen debut in PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie. Chemberlen, who is also making his movie debut with Dino Movie, shares more similarities with Rex. “We’re both in a wheelchair,” he shares. “We’re also both athletic, funny, smart, and creative.” 

In PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, after the PAW Patrol pups’ ship gets caught in a mysterious storm, the pups crash land on an uncharted tropical island filled with dinosaurs. They meet an exceptional pup named Rex, who has been stranded on the island for years and has become an expert in all things dino-related. When the PAW Patrol’s archrival, Mayor Humdinger, begins recklessly mining in hopes of exploiting the island for its natural resources, he inadvertently causes a huge, dormant volcano to erupt. The PAW Patrol pups are thrown into a series of high-stakes, dino-sized rescues bigger than anything they’ve done before, as they must stop Humdinger before everything on the island goes extinct. Chemberlen is part of a star-studded voice cast that includes Carter Young, Mckenna Grace, Terry Crews, Jennifer Hudson, Jameela Jamil, Bill Nye, Paris Hilton and Snoop Dogg.

Mckenna Grace, who once again voices fan favorite Skye, is herself a fan of Rex! “We crash-land on this super mysterious island and discover that there’s dinosaurs,” she shares. “Rex is this super cool character that we meet, and he’s, like, friends with T-Rexes.” 

“He’s amazing and absolutely fun!” adds Terry Crews, who joins the new movie’s ensemble voice cast as mining and explosives expert Alistair Stonewall.
