Asus Rog Launches 2026 Strix Gaming Laptop Series in the Philippines

The latest ROG Strix G and Strix SCAR gaming laptops arrive in the Philippines with next-generation performance, upgraded displays, advanced cooling, and gamer-focused upgradeability.

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially launched its 2026 Strix gaming laptop lineup in the Philippines, bringing the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, and enhanced gaming features to Filipino gamers and creators. The new lineup includes the ROG Strix G16, Strix G18, and flagship Strix SCAR 18.

For 2026, ROG continues to focus on delivering high-performance gaming experiences while improving cooling, display technology, and user upgradeability. The latest Strix series is designed for competitive gamers, content creators, and power users looking for desktop-level performance in a portable form factor.

The ROG Strix G16 and G18 now feature upgraded 2.5K ROG Nebula Displays with ultra-fast 300Hz refresh rates for smoother gameplay and improved responsiveness. Both models are powered by up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 290HX Plus and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU.

ROG has also improved its Intelligent Cooling system through end-to-end vapor chambers, Tri-Fan Technology, and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal cooling, helping reduce temperatures by up to 15 degrees Celsius during demanding workloads.

Leading the lineup is the ROG Strix SCAR 18, which features what ASUS describes as the world’s first 18-inch 4K 240Hz Mini LED laptop panel with over 2,000 dimming zones. The display supports ROG Nebula ELMB technology for enhanced motion clarity and can reach peak brightness levels of up to 1,600 nits.

The flagship model is equipped with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 290HX Plus, 64GB DDR5 memory, and a 2TB SSD. Pricing starts at PHP 439,995.

Another standout feature across the lineup is the patented tool-less design, allowing users to easily upgrade RAM and SSD storage without special tools. The Strix SCAR 18 also includes the customizable AniMe Vision LED display and Aura RGB lighting system.
