2GO, the Philippines’ largest logistics and sea travel provider, continues to redefine educational mobility by moving The Mind Museum’s Mind Rover to Puerto Princesa, Palawan. This inspiring partnership marks the third leg of a nationwide initiative that brings hands-on science learning to underserved communities.

Ahead of the Mind Rover’s arrival, passengers aboard MV 2GO St. Francis Xavier from Manila to Puerto Princesa and Coron were treated to exciting science-themed activities at sea. Curated by The Mind Museum, these interactive STEAM sessions transformed regular travel into immersive learning moments — proving that education can journey beyond the classroom and museum walls.
The Mind Rover, a 12-meter mobile science museum, is loaded with interactive exhibits and live demonstrations that introduce children to the wonders of science in a fun and engaging way. Now reaching Palawan after successful stops in Bacolod and General Santos, it aims to spark interest in STEM careers among Filipino youth by making science exciting and accessible.
Maria Isabel Garcia, Managing Director of The Mind Museum, emphasized the role of 2GO’s direct shipping routes: “We are thrilled to partner with 2GO. Without its sea travel capabilities, bringing the Mind Rover to far-off islands would be a significant logistical challenge. This partnership lets us reach more children and create a larger impact.”
Francis Chua, Business Unit Head of 2GO Travel, highlighted the importance of educational partnerships. “We’re proud to bring science closer to Filipino families. Hosting the Mind Rover onboard not only promotes awareness about sea travel and sustainability but also encourages curiosity and learning.”
With 19 ports nationwide, 2GO stands as more than a logistics provider — it is a conduit for learning and empowerment. The Mind Rover’s arrival in Puerto Princesa reinforces how purposeful collaborations can fuel both mobility and minds across the Philippine archipelago.
