The witches of Oz return for one final spell. “Wicked: For Good,” the sequel to last year’s smash hit “Wicked,” arrives in Philippine cinemas on November 19.

Cynthia Erivo reprises her role as Elphaba. Ariana Grande returns as Glinda. The two now stand apart, facing the consequences of their choices. “It’s wild. It’s unbridled. It feels really, really epic,” Erivo says in the newly released first look.
Director Jon M. Chu calls the film “a much more mature, emotional journey.” The final chapter explores themes of friendship, loss, and destiny.
“Wicked: For Good” follows the global success of the 2024 film, which grossed $750 million and won two Academy Awards. That film told the origin story. This one brings it to a close.
Returning behind the scenes are producers Marc Platt and David Stone, with music by Stephen Schwartz and John Powell. The screenplay is written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox.
