Japanese music icon Utada Hikaru joins forces with singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu for “Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.” Yonezu, known for his hit “Kick Back,” the opening theme of the anime series, is back to produce two songs for the movie.
He created the new opening track “Iris Out” and collaborated with Utada Hikaru for the ending song “Jane Doe.” The teaser for “Jane Doe” is now available, giving fans a preview of this highly anticipated collaboration.
“Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc” hits Philippine cinemas on September 24. The film continues Denji’s story as Chainsaw Man, a Devil Hunter who once worked for the yakuza until betrayal led to his death and rebirth with Pochita, his chainsaw-powered devil companion. In this arc, Denji meets Reze, a mysterious girl who challenges his heart and survival in a brutal world of devils and hunters.
The film is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara with screenplay by Hiroshi Seko and animation by MAPPA, based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s original manga.
