Experts Gather for RePlay Summit 2025 to Promote Purposeful Play in Early Childhood
RePlay (Reinventing Play) is leading a movement to put play at the center of early childhood learning. The group is hosting its first-ever RePlay Summit on November 15, 2025, at Museo Pambata. The event will coincide with World Children’s Month.

The summit theme, Pledge to Play for a Better Tomorrow, encourages teachers, parents, and play advocates to understand how purposeful play builds creativity, empathy, and resilience.
The event will feature key voices in education. De La Salle University Professor and Consultant Maricar Gustilo-De Ocampo will headline with a talk titled The Past, Present, and Future of Play. Joining her are Museo Pambata Founder Nina Lim-Yuson, The Weekend Wild Child Founder Laila Pornel-Espital, and Love Education Philippines Executive Director Inah Salazar. Each will share insights on the importance of play in fostering connection, curiosity, and kindness.
Afternoon sessions will highlight The Art of Building a Kinder World by Bambi Mañosa-Tanjutco, former President of Museo Pambata. A special forum titled Play Landscapes: A Forum on Play Through Diverse Lenses will bring together experts to discuss inclusive, outdoor, and music-based play approaches such as the Reggio Emilia method.
The summit will also include hands-on play zones, interactive exhibits, and guided tours. Attendees will experience play-based learning firsthand and engage with the Museo Pambata’s creative spaces. The Happy Blue House will collaborate to enhance participant engagement and enjoyment.
Founded in 2022, RePlay has grown from a pandemic project into a community promoting mindful, sustainable, and connected learning. For founder and Kindness Coach Teacher Phi Anh, purposeful play is essential. “We speak the children’s language through play. It is how they learn best,” she said.
Registration is now open at linktr.ee/reinventingplay. Onsite tickets cost P3,000 and online access costs P2,500. Both include summit activities, learning materials, certificates, and access to the Museo Pambata exhibits.
