Tenable named Matthew Brown as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Tenable names new CFO as the company advances its exposure management strategy. Brown succeeds Steve Vintz, who now serves as Co Chief Executive Officer with Mark Thurmond.

Brown brings two decades in tech finance. He led Altair Engineering through double digit software revenue growth and margin expansion, then its $10.7 billion sale to Siemens. He also held senior roles at NortonLifeLock, Symantec, Blue Coat, Brocade, NETGEAR, and KPMG.
Vintz said Brown will help scale operations and deliver shareholder value. Brown said Tenable is primed to lead exposure management and he is ready to pair market leadership with bold financial strategy.
Brown holds a B.S. in Business Administration from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and is a licensed CPA in California.
