Solve for Tomorrow marks 15 years of inspiring young innovators through STEM-driven community solutions
Samsung marks a global milestone with 15 years of Solve for Tomorrow, a program that continues to shape the next generation of innovators using STEM. The initiative empowers students to turn bold ideas into real-world solutions that address community challenges.

Since its launch in 2010, Solve for Tomorrow has grown into a worldwide movement. It now operates in 68 countries, reaching over 2.8 million students and producing more than 400,000 innovative ideas. Each idea reflects Samsung’s mission to inspire young minds to act locally and think globally.
Now in its third year in the Philippines, Solve for Tomorrow continues to engage public science high school students from Grades 8 to 10. Students are invited to submit AI-based solutions that address issues in their communities. Over PHP 2 million worth of Samsung devices and cash prizes await the top 10 teams and their schools. Submission of entries runs until October 26, 2025.
Supported by the Department of Education, Solve for Tomorrow has already produced notable local winners. Among them are Team Intellimeter from Philippine Science High School–Cagayan Valley Campus, who developed a smart electric management system. Bansud National High School–Regional Science High School created Project O.A.S.I.S., a filtration device for ocean water.
Last year, Lipa City Science Integrated National High School won first place for “Hi-LoWall,” a solar-powered fog wall that helps cool public spaces. Philippine Science High School–Main Campus followed with “Croprotech,” while Calamba City Science Integrated School earned third place for their smart infrastructure monitoring system.
“Through Solve for Tomorrow, we encourage students to use technology to solve problems in their own communities,” says Min Su Chu, President of Samsung Electronics Philippines.
