Recognized for championing innovative achievements, PLDT and Smart First Vice President and Head of Enterprise and International Business Groups, Mitch L. Locsin, won a Silver Award for Thought Leadership at the 2023 APAC Stevies®.
The Thought Leader of the Year puts a spotlight on the achievements, innovations, and visionary excellence of individuals in Asia-Pacific. This, together with its Gold Stevie® Award of Innovation for PH Digicon 2022, cements the position of PLDT Enterprise as a leading authority in the region.

With over 30 years of management experience, Locsin drove developments and transformations of the sector. Under his leadership, PLDT Enterprise grew its client revenue base to PhP18 billion, experienced double-digit annual growth for its fixed, wireless, and ICT businesses, and grew its customer base to 150,000 nationwide. PLDT Enterprise’s Data Center business also grew significantly, further boosting the group’s ICT business, which was driven mainly by 26% growth from data center colocation services.
Currently, Locsin leads the PLDT Enterprise Business, and ensures that the unit’s services and capabilities remain at par globally. He has also been imparting his excellent expertise as part of also sits in the Board of Directors for PLDT Global Corporation.
Locsin is also committed to furthering the IT-BPM industry as part of his advocacy to future-proof the sector. Currently, he is the Chairman and one of the founding members of the Contact Center Association of the Philippines, an organization aimed at accelerating growth in the IT-BPM industry. He has likewise been re-elected Non-Industry Member of the Board of Trustees of the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines—the primary trade body and advocacy group of the country’s IT-BPM sector.
Furthermore, as the President and Board Member of Bonifacio Communications Corporation (BCC), his visions and plans for the year have also been focused on driving growth and reinforcing stronger digital initiatives, expanding digital footprint, and providing more innovative digital solutions to client.
