Pioneer Insurance has garnered the prestigious WELL Gold precertification for its upcoming 25-story Pioneer House BGC, a pioneering eco-conscious construction within BGC. The building’s anticipated completion is set for early 2026.
The WELL Certification, a globally recognized assessment system developed by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) and administered by Green Business Certification, Inc. (GBC), evaluates structures based on sustainability, health, and overall well-being considerations.
In an applauding message, Peter Templeton, President and CEO of GBC, commended Pioneer’s achievement and underlined the significance of the WELL Precertification, stating, “Pioneer House BGC’s pursuit of WELL Certification illustrates their commitment to advancing health and well-being within the spaces that shape our lives.”
Jeremy Coyukiat, Pioneer’s Head of Real Estate Development and Management Department, emphasized that the WELL precertification, coupled with the ongoing journey toward obtaining LEED Gold certification, will propel Pioneer House BGC to becoming a distinguished global commercial hub in the heart of BGC’s business district.
Coyukiat expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “The WELL Gold precertification is a source of delight for us. This acknowledgment ensures that prospective occupants will relish enhanced wellness provisions such as optimal lighting, acoustic excellence, fresh air infused with purification systems, and expansive gardens spanning over 600 square meters.”
Boasting 20 floors of office spaces, 5 podium parking floors, 1-3 high-ceiling retail levels, and 3 basement parking tiers, Pioneer House BGC offers over 23,400 square meters of flexible unit layouts suitable for various office needs. The structure also incorporates a helipad, garden balconies, and a rooftop garden.
