The Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair 2025 officially opened on August 30 at Robinsons Galleria Ortigas in Manila. Organized by the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA), the event drew strong attendance from Filipino travelers, highlighting growing interest in Taiwan tourism.
The ribbon-cutting was led by Taipei Economic and Cultural Office Deputy Representative Dustin T.S. Yang and Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila Director Cindy Y.T. Chen, along with airline and travel agency partners.
The fair showcased Taiwan’s culture through night market games, a Lucky Lantern D.I.Y. workshop, and live presentations. Exhibitors included China Airlines, EVA Air, Amkor Travel and Tours Inc., BF Travel and Tours Inc., Everbright Travel & Tours Inc., Jeron Travel, and Sole Destinations Travel.
Cindy Chen shared that mid-year 2025 data confirmed the Philippines as one of Taiwan’s strongest tourism markets. Visa-free access, combined with promotions, has made Taiwan a preferred destination for Filipinos. Popular draws include its four-season climate, street food, shopping, efficient transport, and hospitality.
Travel blogger Xzar Lim and actress Bea Binene also attended, sharing their Taiwan travel stories. The event continues until August 31, with Bea Binene set for a special guest appearance.
Filipino travelers are invited to join the fair and plan their next trip to Taiwan.
