OMODA and JAECOO Philippines’ first dealership and showroom houses the OMODA C5, E5, and JAECOO EJ6 models.

Global automotive brand OMODA and JAECOO Motor Philippines has officially opened its first local dealership and showroom located at the GMall along A.Soriano Avenue in Cebu City. Under its partner dealer Eres Automotive Inc.,  the brand’s first dealership in the country has a total area of 296 square meters and will display the first batch of OMODA and JAECOO models that arrived in the Philippines this year including the OMODA C5, OMODA E5, and JAECOO EJ6

In his remarks during the dealership opening event on December 18, Mr. Terry Hu, Country Director of OMODA and JAECOO Motor Philippines, pointed to the region’s thriving business hub as the brand’s primary consideration in selecting the location of their first store in the country.

“As the Queen City of the South, Cebu City serves as the gateway to the growing Visayan market. Cebu is a central location that connects islands and communities. We are thus excited to make our signature automotive engineering DNA available to the Cebuanos, and we are confident that Cebu will be a successful home for our first dealership,” Hu added.

The Cebu dealership offers the OMODA C5 and E5 with the following prices, excluding freight charges.

OMODA C5

  • Premium Variant –  ₱1,279,000.00
  • Comfort Variant – ₱1,159,000.00
  • Lifestyle Variant – ₱998,000.00

OMODA E5

  • PREMIUM Variant – ₱1,699,000.00
  • COMFORT Variant – ₱1,649,000.00

The brand will announce the official retail price of the JAECOO EJ6 soon.

Buyers who signed up during the Cebu dealership opening ceremony and paid a reservation fee of PHP 10,000.00 had the chance to get PHP 40,000.00 off the cars’ sticker price. The Cebu showroom also offered buyers a 20% down payment option upon purchase of an OMODA and JAECOO vehicle during the event. OMODA & JAECOO offers two kinds of warranties. A bumper-to-bumper warranty of up to 84 months or 200,000 km (10 years or 1 million km for the internal combustion engine) and 60 months or 160,000 km bumper- to-bumper warranty (8 years or 160,000 km for electric motors and batteries).

The Cebu dealership is also strategically located less than 3 kilometers from a nearby service center.

“Today marks the beginning of OMODA and JAECOO and Eres Automotive Inc.’s partnership. We saw first-hand the potential of OMODA and JAECOO  to become a true leader in the Philippine automotive space. We are excited to finally bring the brands’ unique automotive engineering DNA to Cebu, and we look forward to offering the brand to neighboring provinces in the Visayas,” said Mr. Carlo Japson, President and CEO of Eres Automotive Inc.

“This inauguration marks the beginning of a new chapter for OMODA and JAECOO in the Philippines. We are confident in the future of OMODA and JAECOO in the market, and we look forward to a long and successful journey together,” Hu added.

Committed to bringing their latest automotive innovations to Filipinos nationwide, OMODA and JAECOO Philippines plans to open other dealerships in key areas around the country by the first quarter of 2025.
