Public restrooms can make or break your day. The Oro Inodoro Awards, formerly known as the Golden Kubeta Awards, has been honoring the best-managed public toilets in the country since 2016.
This year, the program expands to more categories, giving restaurants, hotels, malls, schools, offices, and even gas stations the chance to be recognized for clean, safe, and inclusive facilities.
The awards go beyond looks. Judges will review aesthetics, cleanliness, and wastewater management, emphasizing sustainability and dignity. Special recognition will also go to restrooms with inclusivity features and those voted by the public.
Winners will take home cash prizes, with ₱30,000 for the Grand Winner and ₱10,000 for each category winner. Nominations are open until September 22, 2025, through the Kubeta PH Facebook page or the Let’s CR, Pare group. The awarding takes place on November 19, World Toilet Day.
