Maxicare Healthcare Corporation introduced its new PRIMA prepaid healthcare cards to make healthcare more accessible and proactive for Filipinos. Developed by MaxiHealth, which manages Maxicare Primary Care Clinics nationwide, the cards are designed for preventive care with simple, one-time payments.
The PRIMA prepaid healthcare cards are available to everyone, from newborns to seniors, including those with pre-existing conditions. Each card provides unlimited access to Maxicare Primary Care Clinics and discounted rates for services beyond the coverage.
The cards come in three options. PRIMA Consult, at ₱999 per year, offers entry-level health protection through consultations. PRIMA Access, priced at ₱9,999 annually, gives members unlimited consultations at 34 Maxicare clinics, one annual physical exam, up to 24 lab tests, two chest X-rays, two ECGs, and one ultrasound. For ₱19,999 per year, PRIMA Elite expands on these benefits with unlimited Set A lab tests, X-rays, ECGs, and up to three advanced diagnostics such as 2D echo, treadmill stress test, or CT scan.
Cardholders can use services as early as the day of purchase. Registration and booking follow a simple process for a smooth experience.
“Maxicare believes in people-centered healthcare. The new PRIMA prepaid healthcare cards bring accessible and cost-efficient health solutions to every Filipino,” said Maxicare Chief Customer Officer Raymond Hernandez.
