The Luxury Group by Marriott International is bringing back its Luxury Dining Series for a third year, inviting travelers to experience food as a celebration of connection, culture, and shared memories.

Running from August to October 2026, the latest edition carries the theme “Across the Table”, presenting curated culinary journeys across some of Asia’s most sought-after luxury destinations, including Vietnam, Thailand, the Maldives, Indonesia, Japan, and a voyage aboard Luminara, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

The series will take place at renowned properties such as JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa, The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Phuket, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto. The culinary journey concludes at sea with an exclusive experience aboard Luminara.

Dining Designed Around Connection

This year’s program moves beyond traditional fine dining by creating experiences that encourage meaningful interactions among guests, chefs, and destinations.

Highlights include Chefs [At The] Table, where renowned chefs dine alongside guests and share personal stories, and The Grand Banquet, an immersive dining experience set in iconic locations that celebrate local culture and traditions. Other signature experiences include Heirloom AM/PM, Page to Plate, The Shared Memory Menu, Spirited Social, and Journey To Exceptional Taste, which combine culinary storytelling, mixology, cultural exploration, and hands-on masterclasses.

According to Oriol Montal, Regional Vice President of Luxury for Marriott International Asia Pacific excluding China and Regional Vice President of Singapore, this year’s focus is on the emotional heart of dining.

The series aims to showcase how stories unfold, flavors linger, and relationships deepen when people gather around the table and share meals together.

Celebrating Destinations Through Food

Each destination will offer experiences rooted in local identity and culinary traditions.

In Vietnam, guests can enjoy Vietnamese heritage dinners and seafood experiences inspired by Phu Quoc’s coastal flavors. Thailand’s program explores Southern Thai ingredients, artisan spirits, and immersive culinary workshops. The Maldives combines refined global cuisine with island-inspired dining experiences, while Bali highlights Indonesia’s evolving gastronomic identity through heritage dishes and locally inspired menus. Kyoto presents elegant expressions of Japanese cuisine, from kaiseki and omakase experiences to seasonal tea and pastry journeys.

The voyage aboard Luminara extends the experience to sea with chef-led dining experiences, curated cocktails, and pastry demonstrations that celebrate Japanese culinary traditions.

More Than a Meal

As luxury travel increasingly shifts toward meaningful and immersive experiences, the Luxury Dining Series reflects a growing desire among travelers to connect more deeply with destinations and the people behind the cuisine.

By bringing together celebrated chefs, local ingredients, cultural traditions, and shared experiences, Marriott’s latest culinary program transforms dining into an opportunity for discovery and human connection.

Exclusive hotel packages are available across participating destinations, while the Luminara experiences are reserved for guests booked on the Japan voyage. Marriott Bonvoy members may also redeem loyalty points through Marriott Bonvoy Moments for select dining experiences.
