Mama Shelter is bringing her signature mix of design, dining and energy to Singapore this September with the launch of Mama Shelter Singapore, the brand’s first Asian property and 20th worldwide. Located on Killiney Road in the Somerset district, the 115-room hotel is designed for living, not just sleeping, with entertainment, dining and community spaces at its core.
The property introduces Mama Shelter’s first-ever bunk rooms, ideal for families and friends traveling together. Almost half of the rooms feature private terraces, and two pools, including a rooftop pool, add resort-style flair.
Designed by Dion & Arles, interiors blend Mama’s playful style with Singapore’s multicultural influences. Guests can expect Peranakan-inspired carpets, neon signage, eclectic furnishings and a hand-painted ceiling mural by Parisian street artist Beniloys that took three months to complete.
Dining is central to the Mama experience. On the ground floor, Mama Restaurant and Island Bar serve brasserie-style dishes by Executive Chef Eugene Chan, with drinks curated by bartender Hazel Long. Mama’s Sunday brunch features an indulgent spread, while the rooftop bar offers Mediterranean coastal plates, artisanal pizzas and skyline views.
The hotel’s public spaces host live DJs, pop-ups and performances, turning stays into all-day events. Located between Orchard Road and New Bahru, Mama Shelter Singapore is within walking distance of Somerset MRT and surrounded by dining, retail and cultural spots.
Opening rates start at $190++ per night, inclusive of breakfast for two, for bookings made before 31 August. The offer is valid for stays from 23 September 2025 to 28 February 2026.
