Make-A-Wish Philippines has rolled out two fundraising initiatives in celebration of its 25th year: Swing for Wishes, a charity golf tournament, and Create for Wishes, a series of art workshops.
Swing for Wishes

The foundation’s first-ever golf-for-a-cause will raise funds to grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. Participants can register solo for ₱5,000 or as a team of four for ₱17,000. A culminating night will follow, with food, games, and celebration for donors, players, and supporters. A ticket to the evening event costs ₱1,250.
Create for Wishes

This campaign features a lineup of workshops led by artists and partners:
- Pottery with Odangputik (held in July)
- Watercolor with SincerelyYen, August 9 at Bloga Creator Hub, Mandaluyong
- Flower Dome with Blooms Artisan, August 23 at The Millas Cafe, Cubao
- Terrarium with Moss Escape, August 24 at Greyhound Cafe, Makati
More workshops are coming soon, including crochet by Stitched by Mia and candle painting by Kakayanin. Each registration includes materials. A portion of the fee supports wish-granting for critically ill children.
Executive Director Aleah Ortiz said, “With the support of golfers, artists, and Wishmakers, we aim to create more magical moments for children.”
