MAD Talks Puhon Volunteerism gathers young Filipinos for a free day of stories, faith, and service this December at SM Megamall.
As the year closes with questions and change, one group invites you to pause, breathe, and say “puhon.”

I am MAD (Making A Difference) Volunteers Inc brings back MAD Talks this December as a lifestyle gathering for faith, hope, and community. The event happens on December 6, 2025, at SM Megamall Cinema 3, as part of National Volunteer Month.

The theme, “MAD Talks Puhon: Faith & Hope in Volunteerism,” draws from the Visayan word “puhon,” which means “in God’s perfect time” or “when the time is right.” The event asks you to see service as a quiet act of faith and to trust your own becoming, one choice at a time.
For 15 years, I am MAD has reached Filipino youth in far-flung and urban communities. The group focuses on values formation, education, and community building for children in underserved areas. Its signature talks weave stories of laughter, struggle, and change through simple, honest sharing.
This year, MAD Talks Puhon sets a gentler rhythm. The program invites you to show up as you are, with doubts, dreams, and questions. The message is clear. You do not need to have life figured out to start serving. You only need to start.
Co-founder Maco Ravanzo shares that every small act in uncertain times carries weight. Doing what you can, where you are, grows into change that lasts. Volunteers move forward through two anchors, faith and hope. The journey is still long, but the distance already covered matters.
Speakers include National Youth Commission mental health coach and I am MAD resident speaker Ymari Kristia Pascua. She will share how her own healing led to a mission for others. Volunteer leaders Heini Borromeo, Wino Dela Cruz, and Kaye Maguddayao will add stories on leadership, service, and faith in daily life.
Admission to MAD Talks Puhon is free. Registration is open at bit.ly/MADTalksPuhon2025. Volunteers, dreamers, and everyday heroes are welcome. Come as you are. Let things unfold in God’s time.
