Lenovo has officially released its Lenovo ESG Report FY 2024/25, emphasizing a year of measurable progress and industry leadership. As the first generation of ESG key performance indicators nears completion, It reveals the company’s steadfast commitment to its 2030 emissions reduction goals and its long-term vision of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
The Lenovo ESG Report FY 2024/25 showcases Lenovo’s progress in environmental sustainability through initiatives like the circular economy. This includes the continued integration of closed-loop recycled materials and services that promote repair, recycling, and reuse—key to extending product life cycles and reducing environmental impact.
Lenovo’s efforts have garnered global recognition, including Platinum status from EcoVadis, an AAA rating from MSCI ESG Ratings, and a Gold Award for Best Corporate Governance and ESG from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The company also ranked #8 in Gartner’s Top 25 Global Supply Chain with an impressive ESG score of 9/10.
Socially, Lenovo scaled its global impact through initiatives like its “Love on Month of Service,” achieving a 44% increase in volunteer reach. It also expanded disability inclusion best practices across the U.S., U.K., and Brazil. Internally, the company launched an AI governance policy aligned with global standards, reinforcing its Smarter AI for All vision.
According to Dave Carroll, Lenovo’s new SVP and Corporate Responsibility Officer, the Lenovo ESG Report FY 2024/25 marks “a significant milestone” in building a credible and collaborative ESG framework for the future.
