Kaohsiung Park Music Festival brought Korean and Taiwanese artists together on October 9 and 10, 2026, marking Seoul Park Music Festival’s first international edition outside Korea.

Held at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, the two-day event featured more than 20 performing acts, indoor and outdoor stages, and experience zones inspired by Seoul neighborhoods.

Fans from the Philippines, Korea and other countries joined local audiences for a festival that combined live performances with opportunities to explore Korean culture. Beyond the lineup, the event’s most distinctive moments came through artists performing songs familiar to their Taiwanese audience.

Sandara Park connects through a Penny Tai song

Sandara Park, also known as DARA of 2NE1, accompanied herself on guitar for a rendition of Penny Tai’s “Ni Yao De Ai.”

The connection continued away from her own performance. On the festival’s first day, Sandara attended Penny Tai’s set, and the two later met backstage and connected on Instagram.

It was one example of how the festival’s Korean and Taiwanese lineups created opportunities for exchange beyond sharing a venue.

SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y. prepares Chinese-language performances

Headliner SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y. performed Sandy Lam’s “Zhi Shao Hai You Ni” and Mayday’s “Hou Lai De Wo Men.”

According to organizers, Ryeowook personally selected the Mayday song, which the trio specially prepared for the festival.

The appearance came as SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y. marked its 20th anniversary and returned to a Taiwan stage 11 years after its 2015 Asia Tour stop.

Meanwhile, DRAGON PONY covered Bestards’ “Li Kai De Yi Lu Shang,” adding another Chinese-language performance to the program.

A lineup spanning Korean and Taiwanese music

The Korean lineup included SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y., HIGHLIGHT, Sandara Park, LUCY, BOL4, DRAGON PONY, Lee Mu-jin and ONEWE.

Taiwanese performers included Crowd Lu, Penny Tai, Sunset Rollercoaster, WeiBird, icyball, Mixer, Chih Siou, Lee Chu-hsin, Wayne Huang, Feng Ze, Sabrina Hu, Hsu Wei-hsiang and Joyce.

The event also marked several firsts. BOL4 and Lee Mu-jin made their Taiwan music festival debuts, while ONEWE performed in Kaohsiung for the first time.

Local artists provided their own shared moments with the audience, including a crowd singalong during WeiBird’s “Ru Guo Ke Yi.”

Seoul-inspired spaces between sets

Away from the stages, the festival recreated elements of Seoul’s leisure and pop-culture spaces.

  • Hangang Picnic Zone: Korean-style tents and outdoor seating
  • Myeongdong Beauty Zone: Makeup and hairstyling touch-ups inspired by Seoul beauty pop-ups
  • Hongdae tvN Asia Zone: Korean four-cut photo booths and K-culture experiences

The dual-stage, picnic-style format carried over the relaxed concept associated with Seoul Park Music Festival, giving visitors places to gather between performances.

A platform for cross-border collaboration

Kaohsiung Park Music Festival was jointly organized by CJ ENM Hong Kong and festival producer BEPCTANGENT.

It was also the first live entertainment project supported by the Taiwan-Korea Entertainment and Culture Content Fund, which backs collaboration between the two markets.

The debut demonstrated how a festival format can travel while making room for its host audience. Korean artists performing Taiwanese favorites, local performers drawing singalongs, and fans arriving from across the region gave the event a shared identity.
