Today, critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer Joji shares his latest full-length album, Piss In The Wind, via Palace Creek. Alongside the release, Joji has announced a music video for “Last of a Dying Breed” premiering on Monday, February 9th.
Piss In The Wind bridges Joji’s sonic past and present, balancing melancholic, brooding writing with gritty yet atmospheric production. In the lead up to Piss In The Wind, Joji shared a series of highly dynamic, musically diverse singles demonstrating the breadth of sound fans can come to expect from him; these included “LOVE YOU LESS,” “Past Won’t Leave My Bed,” “If It Only Gets Better,” “PIXELATED KISSES“ Yeat remix HERE).
“PIXELATED KISSES,” notably ended a multi-year musical hiatus for Joji. It generated tens of millions of global streams within hours of its release, debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and later earned placements on the Billboard Top 200 and Pop charts. The song followed 2022’s SMITHEREENS, which featured the RIAA 2x Platinum, #1 Spotify Global 50 hit “Glimpse of Us.”
