A refreshed John Hay Hotels Christmas ushers in warmth, community, and renewal in the highlands
Pine scented breezes and cool highland air set the tone for a warm, joyful holiday at John Hay Hotels. The refreshed leadership under Landco Lifestyle Ventures signals a new chapter for this heritage destination. The Grand Christmas Tree Lighting now stands as the symbol of this shift. It marks a promise of renewal, care, and shared memories for guests.

The ceremony took place on November 21 and brought light to the Garden Wing and Forest Wing. The event showcased the brand’s renewed commitment to community and experience. According to LLV President and CEO Erickson Manzano, the goal is simple. Guests who enter John Hay Hotels should feel welcome, cared for, and at home. He added that the team hopes each visit becomes part of the guest’s meaningful holiday memories.
Holiday activities now fill both wings. Each space carries its own charm. Each one invites guests to slow down, connect, and enjoy the season.
The Garden Wing delivers a Cirque inspired Christmas experience. Guests see whimsical performances and bright light shows. Cozy bonfires offer space for conversation. Outdoor movies and food booths give comfort during the cold nights. Carnival attractions add a playful spirit. Families, couples, and groups find moments that feel like scenes from a holiday story.
The Forest Wing presents a Christmas Carnival Spectacle. Activities run from morning to late evening. Guests enjoy acoustic nights, holiday music, and cheerful visits from Santa and his elves. Faith centered traditions such as Simbang Gabi and Misa de Gallo also return. Visitors can relax at the Helipad Summit Garden during sunset sessions. The season brings a cocktail party on Christmas Eve, a carnival market on Christmas Day, and a New Year’s Eve feast followed by a countdown and the Parade of the Three Kings.
The Forest Wing also highlights Dap ayan Spirits. The signature drink blends Sagada Gin, Tapuy, and smoky Etag. It honors Cordillera culture and the spirit of gathering.
A holiday market adds heart to the celebration. Local artisans and farmers from the Cordilleras present textiles, carvings, jewelry, produce, and homemade goods. The pop up market turns both wings into a warm community space.
John Hay Hotels moves toward a unified brand identity under LLV. The goal is clear. The highlands will become a place for premium lifestyle experiences rooted in culture, comfort, and togetherness.
