The country’s biggest gathering for young changemakers is back as Jessica Soho headlines Global Youth Summit 2025, inspiring the next wave of Filipino leaders at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on August 3. The renowned broadcast journalist, known for her commitment to truth and impactful storytelling, will lead the summit with a message of empowerment, courage, and integrity.
“For over four decades, I’ve had the privilege of telling the stories of our nation—its struggles, triumphs, and everyday heroes. At the Global Youth Summit, I hope to pass the torch to the next generation—so they may tell their own stories with courage, compassion, and a deep commitment to truth,” said Soho.
Joining her is GMA’s multi-talented actress Barbie Forteza, celebrated for her roles in Maria Clara at Ibarra and Pulang Araw, who will share her personal journey and the lessons she’s learned in rising through the ranks of showbiz. Forteza’s presence is set to amplify the summit’s message of purpose-driven youth storytelling.
Also gracing the stage is sustainability advocate Jica Sy from SM, and Tony Devine, Vice President for Education at the Global Peace Foundation, bringing global and local insights on youth-led peacebuilding and eco-conscious leadership.
More than just talks, the summit pulses with Pinoy pride as OPM band Over October brings live music to close the day on a high note. Hosted by SM Cares and the Global Peace Foundation, the Global Youth Summit 2025 is free to attend and open to all aspiring leaders and changemakers.
