JBL has opened US preorders for its newest portable model, the JBL Grip speaker. Starting September 2, buyers can reserve the can-sized speaker for $99.95. It will hit US retailers on September 28.
The JBL Grip speaker brings JBL Pro Sound with AI Sound Boost, designed to deliver clear audio even at higher volumes. A 43 x 80 mm full range transducer powers the sound while a 12-hour battery extends to 14 hours using PlayTime Boost.
It comes in six finishes: black, white, purple, red, blue, and camo. An ambient light panel on the back, customizable through the JBL app, adds a visual touch. A rope hook makes it easy to bring outdoors.
The JBL Grip speaker is built for durability with an IP68 water- and dust-proof rating. It also supports multi-speaker pairing with Auracast and full compatibility with the JBL app.
