INAX, Japan’s leading sanitary ware brand, unveiled its advanced Japanese bathroom technology at the first-ever Philippine Building and Construction Expo (PHILBEX) in Iloilo City. The event, held at the Iloilo Convention Center, gathered top architects, designers, and industry professionals for three days of design and construction innovations.

With more than 130 booths, PHILBEX featured INAX together with its dealer partner Moostbrand Home Depot. Hundreds of visitors explored the INAX interactive booth, where Japanese bathroom technology took center stage.

Among the highlights was INAX’s electronic bidet technology. Its shower toilets feature a side panel remote that controls water volume and temperature, dual nozzles, and flushing functions. Guests were impressed by the heated seat, hot water storage, and antibacterial features on the seat, cover, nozzle, and panel.

INAX also introduced its Hyperkilamic Technology, which coats ceramic surfaces with a nano-layer of silver to inhibit bacteria and prevent dirt buildup. This innovation, supported by Japanese Industrial Standards certification, reduces cleaning effort and maintains long-lasting durability.

For washbasins, INAX presented Cerafine technology, inspired by traditional Japanese motifs. Using specially formulated clay, Cerafine achieves ultra-thin edges and elegant forms while retaining durability and refined design.

The exhibit highlighted INAX’s S Series bathroom collections.

  • The S600 Line features artistic toilets, basins, showers, faucets, and bathtubs designed with Japanese spatial aesthetics.
  • The S400 Line uses light and shadow for a reflective bathroom experience.
  • The S200 and S220 Lines offer practical solutions for compact and urban spaces.
  • The S100 Line provides functional and affordable bathroom products for small areas.

INAX representatives, including Cy Macasero, Fe Saplala, and Flor Matildo, alongside Moostbrand executives, introduced these innovations to the Iloilo design and construction community.

The showcase strengthened INAX’s presence in the Philippines, promoting advanced Japanese bathroom technology for residential, office, and hospitality projects. Visitors can explore these collections at the INAX showroom in Moostbrand Home Depot, Jaro, Iloilo City.
