HoYoverse has unveiled its newest title, Honkai: Nexus Anima. Known for Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, the studio is now introducing a creature-collecting adventure strategy game.
The game centers on “Anima,” mystical creatures that serve as partners in battle. Each Anima has distinct abilities and traits, adding depth to tactical combat. HoYoverse highlighted two Anima in its reveal. Puddlipup resembles pudding and can flatten or bounce to surprising heights. Taileep, on the other hand, is mischievous and thrives on tricks.
Unlike the action-driven Honkai Impact 3rd, this installment leans into collecting and strategy. Fans can expect crossovers with familiar characters such as Kiana Kaslana and Blade, each paired with their own Anima companion. This move signals HoYoverse’s intent to connect storylines across its franchises.
The official site, available in multiple languages, offers early creature profiles and teases more updates. While a release date has not been set, the global launch preparations are underway.
