Home Credit partnerships with UST and Cignal

Home Credit Philippines is strengthening its presence in the country through new sponsorships with collegiate teams and broadcast partners.

The financial services company announced its support for the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers men’s basketball team and the UST Golden Tigresses women’s volleyball team. The university will also serve as the host of the upcoming UAAP Season 88, which begins next week.

Beyond campus sports, Home Credit has partnered with Cignal, the country’s leading satellite TV and IPTV provider. This collaboration ensures visibility during the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament and the highly anticipated UAAP Cheer Dance Competition. Home Credit branding will also be featured in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.

The company emphasized that basketball, volleyball, and cheer dance rank among the most followed sports in the Philippines, making these partnerships strategic investments in connecting with a wide audience.

On its corporate social responsibility efforts, Home Credit confirmed the return of its annual Takbo Para Sa Life fun run. For 2026, the event will expand to two legs for the first time: Manila on February 1 and Cebu on March 29. The fun run aims to promote health and wellness while strengthening community ties.

Through these initiatives, Home Credit continues to engage Filipinos not only through financial services but also by supporting sports, wellness, and community-building activities.
