HBO Max has released the key art for “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe,” a new 10-episode Max Original comedy series set to debut on July 24.

The series will stream on HBO Max, with new episodes arriving on subsequent Fridays.

The comedy follows Stuart Bloom, the comic book store owner from The Big Bang Theory, as he is pulled into an unexpected multiverse disaster.

A Multiverse Problem for Stuart Bloom

In the series, Stuart accidentally breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, setting off a multiverse Armageddon.

To fix reality, he teams up with his girlfriend Denise, geologist friend Bert, and quantum physicist Barry Kripke.

Their mission brings them face-to-face with alternate-universe versions of familiar characters from The Big Bang Theory.

As the title suggests, saving the universe may not go smoothly.

Familiar Faces Return in a New Comedy Setup

The series stars Kevin Sussman as Stuart, Lauren Lapkus as Denise, Brian Posehn as Bert, and John Ross Bowie as Barry.

The show comes from Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

It is created, written, and executive produced by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady.

Kyle Newacheck serves as executive producer and directs multiple episodes.

Expanding a Familiar TV Universe

“Stuart Fails to Save the Universe” builds on the world of The Big Bang Theory by shifting the focus to supporting characters and placing them in a bigger, stranger, and more chaotic story.

The multiverse setup gives the comedy room to revisit familiar faces in new ways while putting Stuart at the center of the action.

For fans of the original series, the show offers another entry point into a world built around science, friendship, pop culture, and awkward humor.

Streaming on HBO Max

“Stuart Fails to Save the Universe” premieres on July 24 on HBO Max.

HBO Max subscriptions in the Philippines start at ₱149 per month and ₱1,040 for 12 months.

Subscribers can stream the series through their preferred supported devices.

A New Comedy for Big Bang Theory Fans

The new series gives longtime fans a different kind of story within a familiar universe.

Instead of focusing on the core group, “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe” follows characters who often stood on the edges of the original show and places them in a reality-breaking adventure.

With a multiverse crisis, returning character connections, and a title that already warns viewers not to expect things to go well, the series sets up a comedy built around chaos, fandom, and one unlikely hero trying to fix the universe.
