HBO Max has released the key art for “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe,” a new 10-episode Max Original comedy series set to debut on July 24.

The series will stream on HBO Max, with new episodes arriving on subsequent Fridays.

The comedy follows Stuart Bloom, the comic book store owner from The Big Bang Theory, as he is pulled into an unexpected multiverse disaster.

A Multiverse Problem for Stuart Bloom

In the series, Stuart accidentally breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, setting off a multiverse Armageddon.

To fix reality, he teams up with his girlfriend Denise, geologist friend Bert, and quantum physicist Barry Kripke.

Their mission brings them face-to-face with alternate-universe versions of familiar characters from The Big Bang Theory.

As the title suggests, saving the universe may not go smoothly.

Familiar Faces Return in a New Comedy Setup

The series stars Kevin Sussman as Stuart, Lauren Lapkus as Denise, Brian Posehn as Bert, and John Ross Bowie as Barry.

The show comes from Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

It is created, written, and executive produced by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady.

Kyle Newacheck serves as executive producer and directs multiple episodes.
