Halloween thrills and fresh premieres on HBO Max

HBO Max is welcoming October with a mix of chills, laughs, and binge-worthy new content. Fans of horror will enjoy the spooky season lineup that includes the highly anticipated HBO Original series IT: Welcome to Derry, premiering October 27. This new series expands Stephen King’s IT universe and sets the stage for an unsettling Halloween. Alongside this, stream classics like The Conjuring, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), Lovecraft Country, and Max Originals Salem’s Lot and Caddo Lake.

Emmy-winning originals like The Penguin, The Pitt, and Hacks headline the roster, while Japanese series such as Love is for the Dogs, VIVANT, IGNITE, and Mr. Mikami’s Classroom will be available starting October 17. Viewers can also revisit all seasons of Friends, or explore The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One in Manila opening October 8 at The Space at Solaire.

Movie premieres include Ne Zha 2 on October 1, Novocaine on October 3, Drop on October 17, and The Woman in the Yard on October 24. You can also catch James Gunn’s blockbuster Superman, starring David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult.

Series premieres keep the lineup fresh with Gremlins: Secrets Of The Mogwai on October 1, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball on October 6, The Chair Company on October 13, and Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy on October 16.

Reality shows bring variety with Discovery’s Inside the Kim Kardashian Heist on October 2, Jamie vs Britney: The Father Daughter Trials on October 2, and TLC’s Halloween Baking Championship Season 11 on October 15. Other highlights include Asian Food Network’s Discovering Local Ramen by Car Season two on October 19 and Food Network Asia’s Halloween Wars Season 15 on October 20.

With finales of Peacemaker Season two on October 10 and Task on October 20, HBO Max delivers packed weekends of entertainment. Subscriptions start at only ₱149 per month or ₱1,040 for 12 months, available through www.hbomax.com, the Apple App Store, or Google Play Store.
