Grand Seiko unveiled two new additions to its Evolution 9 collection, the SLGW006 “Sunrise Tentagraph” and the SLGW007 “Moonlit Birch,” both set to release in October 2025. These models reflect the brand’s commitment to blending natural inspiration with high-beat mechanical excellence.
The limited-edition SLGW006 “Sunrise Tentagraph” takes cues from the copper glow of dawn on Mount Iwate. Its radial-patterned dial comes in copper-pink, encased in polished Grade 5 titanium, rose gold, and ceramic. At 43.2 mm, this chronograph houses the Caliber 9SC5, delivering a 72-hour power reserve. Only 300 pieces will be available worldwide, priced at $22,600 USD/£19,650 GBP.
In contrast, the SLGW007 “Moonlit Birch” offers a more understated design. Its textured navy dial recalls the birch forests of Iwate Prefecture under moonlight. The stainless steel case measures 38.6 mm and is just 9.95 mm thick. Powered by the manual-winding Caliber 9SA4, the watch maintains accuracy at 36,000 vph and runs up to 80 hours. A navy calf-leather strap completes its refined profile. The “Moonlit Birch” will retail for $10,000 USD/£8,600 GBP.
Both watches highlight Grand Seiko’s philosophy of drawing inspiration from nature while delivering mechanical precision. Collectors can expect them in Grand Seiko Salons worldwide this October.
