Globe has reached 100% restoration of mobile services in 28 provinces across Luzon and Visayas affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine, while efforts are near completion in remaining sites.

As of Saturday, October 26, 2024, Globe has finished restoration work in the following provinces:

  • Abra
  • Albay
  • Apayao
  • Bataan
  • Benguet
  • Biliran
  • Bulacan
  • Camarines Norte
  • Cavite
  • Eastern Samar
  • Ifugao
  • Ilocos Norte
  • Ilocos Sur
  • Isabela
  • Kalinga
  • La Union
  • Leyte
  • Masbate
  • Marinduque
  • Mountain Province
  • Nueva Ecija
  • Nueva Vizcaya
  • Pampanga
  • Pangasinan
  • Occidental Mindoro
  • Northern Samar
  • Southern Leyte
  • Zambales

Restoration efforts are also underway and close to completion in the remaining provinces where several Globe sites experienced outages due to power failure. These include the following:

  • Albay
  • Batangas
  • Camarines Sur
  • Catanduanes
  • Cagayan
  • Laguna
  • Oriental Mindoro
  • Pangasinan
  • Quezon
  • Romblon
  • Sorsogon

“Less than 1 percent of sites are yet to be restored in Northern Luzon and Visayas, while our ground crews are working doubly hard to restore the remaining 10% of sites in Southern Luzon that are still down. As the rains finally wane and roads clear of floods, we’re confident that we will reach 100% in all affected sites at the soonest possible time,” said Yoly Crisanto, Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer at Globe.

Globe earlier provided connectivity support in communities affected by the storm, including free unli calls and texts and data allocation for Globe Prepaid and TM users. Globe also extended due dates for mobile and broadband postpaid users.

Globe likewise deployed a Libreng Tawang, Libreng Charging and Libreng WiFi station in Cebu City, which will remain open until Saturday.

Globe continues to call on customers to support relief efforts by donating their Globe Rewards points via the GlobeOne app.
