Globe marked GDay 2025 with a celebration centered on its employees and their role in driving positive change. Under the theme Globe Celebrates You, the company honored the hard work and dedication of Ka-Globe while extending the celebration to community service and partnerships with various organizations.
The day opened with leaders surprising employees with tokens of appreciation, followed by a Thanksgiving Mass led by Father Jerry Orbos SVD. Across Globe offices, employees enjoyed food booths, games, buskers, interactive video booths, and personalized GDay pins featuring their avatars.
Weeks before GDay, Ka-Globes participated in the G Raffle Rush, completing daily challenges for a chance to win staycations, travel vouchers, and exclusive 917 items. Teams also joined the GDay Shoutouts, nominating peers in categories such as Team Spirit, Happy Helper, and Everyday Hero, highlighting acts of kindness and teamwork.

More Than a Celebration
Globe President and CEO Carl Cruz highlighted his first GDay as chief executive, emphasizing that employees are the company’s greatest asset. “Our employees embody the spirit of GDay. This celebration is more than appreciation, it reflects our shared purpose of care, malasakit, and innovation,” he said.
Yoly Crisanto, Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer, also noted the dual milestone of 10 years of GDay and 10 years of Employee Volunteer Time Off. “Your acts of kindness combine to create a Globe of Good. It is our purpose in action, relatable, impactful, and deeply human,” she said.
Through GDay 2025, Globe showed how employee recognition and community engagement can create lasting impact.
