Global Dominion Amplifies Support for Female Entrepreneurs with the Launch of Glow

Global Dominion shares updates on GLOW, empowering women entrepreneurs through accessible financing, connection, and opportunities, on August 26, 2026, at Marco Polo Ortigas

Global Dominion celebrated the expansion of GLOW (Giving Limitless Opportunities to Women), a financing and community program for women-led small and medium enterprises (WSMEs).

Building on Global Dominion’s long-standing commitment to women-led businesses, GLOW brings years of support together under one dedicated program. It aims to help address a persistent gap in the financing landscape, where women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises account for an estimated 66% of the country’s MSMEs, yet only about 4% have formal access to financing due to strict lending requirements, rigid structures, gender bias, and limited access to collateral.

“Women have always been the backbone of so many Filipino businesses and households, yet too many have had to grow without the financial support they deserve. GLOW is our way of changing that narrative,” said Global Dominion President and CEO Samuel Cariño. “This is more than a loan product. It’s a commitment to walk alongside every Filipina entrepreneur we serve, because growth is never a solo climb — it takes a community to GLOW.”

At the center of the program is GLOW Loan, designed specifically for women-led businesses. Eligible borrowers include sole proprietors, partnerships with at least one woman partner, and corporations where a woman serves as a director, stockholder, or authorized representative.

The loan is intended for business purposes, such as additional capital, vehicle or lot purchase, equipment purchase, or business expansion, and is available for both new and renewal accounts. Unlike standard financing products, GLOW Loan also recognizes income from employment or remittances alongside business revenue, provided the business itself is already established, giving women entrepreneurs more flexibility to qualify.

Recognizing the realities many women face in accessing collateral and documentation, GLOW also allows co-borrowing arrangements involving spouses, common-law partners, or immediate family members in specific circumstances, so more women can qualify without being excluded by ownership technicalities.

GLOW extends beyond financing through the GLOW Community, a network supporting women at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey, from aspiring business owners to established enterprise leaders. In support of Global Dominion’s purpose to ignite and accelerate the growth of people and organizations to transform lives for the better, GLOW Community helps members learn, grow, connect, and thrive together.

Membership in the GLOW Community is open to women who aspire to start a business or join livelihood programs, current and former Global Dominion clients looking to expand or sustain their businesses, and women pursuing growth in business, leadership, career, or personal development, with Global Dominion’s own leaders and partners as the program’s pioneer members. Looking ahead, Global Dominion plans to grow the GLOW brand through future extensions such as the GLOW Summit, GLOW Awards, and GLOW Expo.

Through GLOW, members can look forward to exclusive financial programs and promotions, free business development workshops, networking and business opportunities, mentorship from experts, recognition through member features, and opportunities to make a difference through community service and outreach activities.

“We built GLOW around how women actually run their businesses, and around the belief that access to capital should come with access to community,” said Global Dominion enterprise division general manager Eleanor Yap. “That’s the promise we’re making, and one we intend to keep,” she added.

GLOW is now available nationwide. Interested entrepreneurs may get in touch with their nearest Global Dominion branch, its website, or its official social media accounts for more information.
