Game to Give brings fun, trivia, and donations together
GCash is turning donations into a fun, live experience with GBayanihan’s “Game to Give,” a first-of-its-kind livestream quiz show that lets Filipinos donate while watching content creators battle it out for their chosen advocacies.
The initiative responds to the struggles of many NGOs in raising consistent financial support. Through GBayanihan, GCash provides a trusted in-app donation platform that connects users directly with credible organizations. All featured NGOs are accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) and hold solicitation permits from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), ensuring transparency and legitimacy.
“Game to Give” will feature four influencers:
- Ashley Rivera for Community Development
- Hershey Neri for Education
- Lottie Bie for Health
- Show Suzuki for Shelter
They will compete in a real-time trivia showdown, each aiming to win up to ₱1 million in donations for their chosen NGO. Partners include UNICEF, ABS-CBN Foundation, InLife Foundation, and Virlanie.
Audience participation is key. Every donation, even as low as 1 peso, counts as points for their chosen influencer’s team. This direct link between giving and gameplay makes the experience both entertaining and impactful.
CJ Alegre, AVP for Sustainability at GCash, said, “Through GBayanihan and Game to Give, we want to show how technology can open new opportunities for NGOs to reach supporters and raise funds in more innovative ways.”
The live event happens this Friday, September 19, 2025, on GCash’s official TikTok and Facebook pages. Viewers can donate directly through GBayanihan while cheering for their chosen influencer.
With “Game to Give,” GCash redefines philanthropy by merging entertainment, gamification, and charitable giving, proving that supporting meaningful causes can be simple, fun, and impactful.
