GCash joins Pulse 2025 to highlight how AI-powered MSME growth can drive financial inclusion and smarter business solutions in the Philippines.
GCash strengthened its role as a driver of innovation for Filipino enterprises at Pulse 2025: B2B Innovation & Leadership Forum, hosted by Asticom at Shangri-La The Fort, Taguig. The event gathered business leaders and technologists to discuss how AI and digital transformation can power business growth.
Ren-ren Reyes, President and CEO of G-Xchange Inc., and Jong Layug, General Manager for GCash for Business, led the discussion on responsible AI and the future of digital finance for MSMEs.
Reyes explained that GCash’s mission extends beyond individual users. “Whether it’s a consumer reloading RFID or a company streamlining collections, we aim to remove pain points through digital tools. Every efficiency gained contributes to a stronger, more empowered economy,” he said.
On AI adoption, Reyes stressed practicality over trend. “We don’t adopt tech for tech’s sake. We ask, does this solve a real problem? If it does, we scale it in a way that’s intuitive and secure for users. Our vision remains clear—Finance for All.”
Layug added that GCash’s enterprise growth thrives on ecosystem collaboration. “If something defines who we are, we build it. If speed is critical and others can do it better, we partner. We’ve always solved for the Filipino consumer. Now we’re applying that mindset to businesses—creating tools that remove friction, improve cash flow, and simplify transactions.”
The forum also featured executives from McDonald’s Philippines, Globe, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Entrego, who shared insights on digital transformation and leadership.
Marking Asticom’s 10th year, Pulse 2025 highlighted how technology, people, and partnerships can power smarter, more inclusive business growth.
GCash continues to lead the charge in building digital solutions that empower MSMEs and support the country’s growing digital economy.
