Managing Director, FedEx Indonesia
Garrick Thompson is the Managing Director of FedEx Indonesia, a position he has held since July 2021. Based in Jakarta, he leads the company’s operations across Indonesia, overseeing corporate strategy, operational excellence, and customer experience nationwide.
Garrick began his career with FedEx in 2007 as a Human Resources Specialist in New Zealand. He later transitioned into operations leadership in New Zealand and the Philippines, where he drove improvements in service performance and operational efficiency.
Before his current role, he served as Senior Manager for Philippines Sales, leading his team to significant revenue growth and customer base expansion in 2021–2022. He is a recipient of the Five Star Award, FedEx’s most prestigious honor, recognizing outstanding leadership and results.
Garrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Management and Human Resources from the University of Waikato. Outside of work, he is an avid basketball player.
