AirAsia cancels Manila-Tacloban flights due to Tropical Storm Opong
AirAsia Philippines has cancelled several flights to and from Tacloban on 25 September 2025, following warnings on the effects of Tropical Storm Opong (international name Bualoi). The cancellations were made to prioritize the safety of passengers and crew as weather conditions continue to worsen.

Cancelled flights on September 25, 2025:
- Z2 327: Manila to Tacloban, 4:00 PM – Cancelled
- Z2 328: Tacloban to Manila, 6:10 PM – Cancelled
- Z2 329: Manila to Tacloban, 6:10 PM – Cancelled
- Z2 330: Tacloban to Manila, 8:05 PM – Cancelled
AirAsia has directly informed all affected guests through email and SMS, with several service recovery options available:
- Move Flight: One-time free date change within 30 days on the same route, subject to seat availability.
- Credit Account: Stored value valid for 730 days in the guest’s AirAsia account.
- Full Refund: Issued to the original form of payment.
Passengers are advised to check the AirAsia MOVE app (airasia.com/flightstatus), the AskBo chatbot, or their registered email for updates. AirAsia continues to monitor the storm’s impact and will release further advisories as needed.
