Catriona Gray joins Taiwan Excellence Pavilion at Taiwan Expo 2025
The Taiwan Expo 2025 opened at the SMX Convention Center on September 17 with the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion as one of its highlights. Running until September 19, the pavilion features the theme “Inspiring Tomorrow: Solutions for a Brighter Life” and showcases products designed to improve daily living through innovation and smart technology.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray joined the launch and delighted visitors with a meet and greet and autograph signing session. She also toured the pavilion with Taiwan Excellence’s Fu Bear and expressed her admiration for Taiwan’s innovative solutions. “Witnessing these innovations inspires me in looking forward to a better tomorrow,” Gray said, encouraging Filipinos to explore opportunities at the pavilion.
Key figures from Taiwan’s leading institutions attended the event, including Mr. Simon Wang, President and CEO of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), who emphasized Taiwan’s commitment to innovation that improves lives. Ms. Josephine Shun, Director of the Economic Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines (TECO), also shared Taiwan’s vision of innovation serving humanity through sustainable and practical solutions.

Delegates from Taiwanese companies such as Vinxper Life, Team Group, Zyxel Networks, and HEPTY presented products across diverse industries. Exhibits were organized under three categories: Comfortable Life, Smart City, and Greener Future. Visitors engaged with interactive displays, participated in activities, and received exclusive giveaways.
