FedEx Triumphs with HR Excellence Awards 2025 Recognition

FedEx Philippines shined at the 2025 HR Excellence Awards, bagging three prestigious honors that highlight its strong people-first approach. The company earned Gold in Cross-Generational Workforce Management, Gold in Leadership Development, and Silver in Best HR Team (Multinational Companies).

The annual HR Excellence Awards recognizes outstanding human resource practices across industries. This year, 71 top organizations competed, with FedEx also named a finalist in seven categories, proving its consistent focus on building a resilient and inclusive workforce.

The Gold Award for Cross-Generational Workforce Management celebrates FedEx’s initiatives that bridge age groups in the workplace. Mentorship programs, leadership training, and internal mobility have strengthened collaboration and created a culture of inclusivity.

FedEx also exceeded the government’s 0.5% target for employment of persons with disabilities, while achieving 53% female representation in management. Initiatives like the Disability Inclusion Playbook and Sensitivity Training further boosted engagement, resulting in a 17% improvement in Inclusion over the past year.

The second Gold Award for Leadership Development reflects FedEx’s success in equipping employees with essential leadership skills. Programs like Advance into Management, cross-functional learning, and mentoring prepare staff to adapt, innovate, and excel. These efforts translated into a 95% employee engagement score and a 91% inclusion score.

Maribeth Espinosa, Managing Director of FedEx Philippines, emphasized the importance of these achievements: “Our people are our greatest asset and the driving force behind our long-term success. These awards inspire us to keep building a workplace where our team can thrive and prepare for the future.”

The Silver Award for Best HR Team (Multinational Companies) capped the recognition. The FedEx HR team stood out for weaving leadership behaviors and inclusive practices into daily operations, fostering both employee growth and organizational success.

These awards reflect FedEx’s people-service-profit philosophy, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable growth through workforce empowerment and leadership excellence.
