Engkanto Brewery Opens Taps Bridgetowne for Quezon City’S Craft Beer Community

Engkanto Brewery has opened its newest beer destination, Engkanto Taps Bridgetowne, giving Quezon City craft beer fans a new place to enjoy fresh local brews, beer flights, cocktails, and bar food.

Located on the Ground Floor of GBF Center 1, Bridgetowne, C-5 Road, the new location sits near Opus Mall and serves communities in Quezon City and nearby Pasig.

The opening follows Engkanto’s successful Mabrewhay Craft Beer Festival 2026, continuing the brewery’s push to grow the local craft beer community in the Philippines.

Fresh Craft Beers on Tap

Engkanto Taps Bridgetowne offers 10 craft beers on tap, including the brewery’s core lineup and selected limited releases.

Guests can enjoy familiar Engkanto favorites such as Live It Up Lager, a drinkable everyday lager, and Mango Nation Hazy IPA, which has gained a following in markets such as the United States and Australia.

The lineup also includes High Hive Honey Ale, named the World’s Best Beer in its category at the World Beer Awards 2024, and Paint Me Purple Ube Lager, recognized as a Gold Medal Winner for Filipino Style at the inaugural Philippine Beer Cup.

Limited releases and collaborations using local ingredients are also expected to add variety to the menu, including past creations such as the Auro Chocolate collaboration, Dark Heart Imperial Stout.

A Starting Point for New Craft Beer Drinkers

For guests who are still exploring different beer styles, Taps Bridgetowne offers a beer flight option.

The flight allows customers to sample four different beers in smaller portions, making it easier to discover flavor profiles before choosing a full pint.

The branch also offers Happy Hour from Monday to Thursday, 3PM to 6PM, giving guests another reason to drop by after work or before dinner.

Cocktails Inspired by Engkanto Beers

While craft beer remains the focus, Taps Bridgetowne also serves signature cocktails built around the flavor profiles of Engkanto beers.

One featured drink is the Sampa-Loca Highball, made with Green Lava Double IPA and agave syrup.

Another is Nutty & Nice-presso, a twist on an espresso martini that uses Nutty & Nice Choco-Nut Stout for added creaminess and character.

These drinks expand the Taps experience beyond pints, offering guests another way to enjoy Engkanto’s beer styles.

Engkanto Taps Bridgetowne also offers bar chow and dishes designed to pair with beer.

Michael “MJ” Jordan, Brewmaster of Engkanto, said Filipino beer culture is strongly connected to good food, easygoing spaces, and shared experiences.

He said the Bridgetowne branch is expected to become another place where people in Quezon City can chill, unwind, and enjoy good beer and food together.

Ricard Basora, Managing Director of Engkanto, said the opening of Taps Bridgetowne marks an exciting step for the brand as it enters Quezon City.
