EastWest Ageas Dream Builder empowers Filipinos to save for future goals
Many Filipinos today are focused on balancing income, health, and future savings. A study by EastWest Ageas shows that 82% of Filipinos are working on income security, while 81% are prioritizing health to avoid medical expenses. Yet research from WTW warns of stagnant wages by 2026, with nearly half of companies expected to cut salary budgets. Rising food and housing costs make it harder for young adults to reach their financial goals.
To address this, EastWest Ageas launched the Dream Builder Plan under its PURPLE solutions. The plan offers guaranteed cash payouts at the end of the 6th year and a maturity benefit by the 20th year. It also includes a death benefit equal to 200% of the Sum Insured, plus an additional 10% from the 11th to 20th year.
The Dream Builder Plan gives Filipinos a way to stretch their income for daily needs while preparing for emergencies. Policyholders can also use the benefits to save for children’s education or retirement. The simplified application process makes it easier to start.
“Filipinos deserve a solution that empowers them to pursue their life goals while still staying protected,” says Sjoerd Smeets, President and CEO of EastWest Ageas. “We designed an insurance solution that gives you the confidence to plan ahead.”
Greg Martin, Chief Distribution and Marketing Officer, adds, “With Dream Builder, we hope to help more Filipinos build their dreams knowing they are secured as they pursue them. Life may be uncertain, but this plan offers peace of mind and protection.”
