Converge ICT Solutions Inc., the country’s leading fiber broadband provider, has reached a historic milestone by achieving full Tier III certification for its Caloocan Data Center, making it the most advanced data center in the Philippines under the Uptime Institute’s global standards.
The Converge Caloocan Data Center is now the first and only infrastructure in the Philippines to receive Tier III Certification for Constructed Facility, in addition to its earlier Tier III Design Certification granted in February. With this recognition, Converge has cemented its position as a pioneer in digital infrastructure in the country.
This 300-rack, 3-megawatt facility is designed to host Converge’s mission-critical operations and provide top-tier data delivery for residential and enterprise customers across the country and the globe. “With our Caloocan Data Center now fully certified as Tier III for both design and construction, we are realizing our vision of a resilient and secure digital ecosystem,” said Dennis Anthony Uy, CEO and Co-Founder of Converge.
As demand for content and cloud services rises, Converge continues to build its data center footprint using a multi-edge strategy, deploying smaller data hubs across its nationwide network. A 1,200-rack facility is also in development in Pampanga, targeting enterprise clients across various industries.
Converge’s network expansion also includes international connectivity through two new cable systems launching this year: the Bifrost Cable System, linking Singapore to the US via Davao, and the SEA-H2X, which connects the Philippines to major Southeast Asian digital economies.
The Tier III Constructed Facility certification is a lifetime achievement that underscores the company’s commitment to infrastructure resilience and future-proofing digital operations—marking a major leap forward in Converge’s mission to deliver fast, reliable, and secure connectivity.
