Cobra Energy Drink empowers Filipinos with skills and hope

Cobra Energy Drink is proving it is more than just a source of physical energy. Through its program “Tatag sa Pagtupad ng Pangarap Kasama ang TESDA Program,” in partnership with TESDA NCR – PAMAMARISAN District Office and DOLE-TUPAD, the brand is fueling determination, resilience, and ambition for Filipinos ready to rebuild their futures.

A total of 29 #TeamLakas beneficiaries received free technical-vocational training, TESDA competency assessments, and a Cobra “Panimula Kit” that serves as a starting point for careers and small businesses. The program was designed to empower unemployed, underemployed, and displaced workers looking for sustainable opportunities after the pandemic.

Stories of resilience highlight the program’s success. Judy Baliwag Lomboy pursued Bread and Pastry Production after financial setbacks and credited her family for inspiring her to finish. Housekeeping graduate Jennelbel Amulat now carries the confidence to work abroad or start her own business, promising not to waste the opportunity. Meanwhile, Jonalyn Yarra Abogado, also a Housekeeping graduate, expressed gratitude for the knowledge and tools that allow her to pursue overseas employment while balancing part-time work.

Each National Certificate awarded by TESDA was more than a credential. It symbolized a fresh start and the ability to carve out new opportunities. The Cobra “Panimula Kit” added practical support, equipping graduates with tools to take their first steps toward livelihood and independence.

For Cobra, this initiative is a mission to fuel both energy and dreams. “It was very humbling to see their determination up close,” said Jonsell Del Mundo, Assistant Brand Manager of Cobra Energy Drink. “We witnessed how, with the right support, they could rebuild their confidence and take the first steps toward their dreams.”

Marketing Manager Apple de Belen added, “Cobra has always stood for strength, perseverance, and the courage to keep going. Through #TeamLakas, we are proud to help Filipinos not only gain energy for today but also the skills and opportunities that will change their lives for tomorrow.”

With this initiative, Cobra Energy Drink shows that empowerment goes beyond a single product. It is about building skills, creating hope, and fueling ambition for a brighter tomorrow.
