Cebu Pacific Tokyo pop-up event promotes Philippine tourism with immersive experiences and flight giveaways
Cebu Pacific brought the joy and warmth of the Philippines to Tokyo through a two-day pop-up event at Shibuya 109 last November 8 and 9.

The airline’s “Fly to Your Happy Philippines” campaign invited Japanese travelers to experience the beauty and hospitality of the Philippines through interactive displays and fun activities. Visitors enjoyed a simulated Cebu Pacific flight, virtual tours of top island destinations, and the chance to win free round-trip tickets to the Philippines.
Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer, said Japan remains one of their strongest markets. “Through this campaign, we hope to encourage more Japanese travelers to visit the Philippines and experience its diverse destinations, while making their journey affordable and enjoyable with Cebu Pacific,” he shared during a press event in Tokyo.
The pop-up featured immersive experiences highlighting Cebu, Boracay, Bohol, and Palawan—each presented with scenic visuals and cultural touches that showcased why these destinations continue to attract global attention.
Cebu Pacific also announced expanded flight frequencies to meet growing travel demand between Japan and the Philippines. Starting in November 2025, flights from Tokyo (Narita) to Clark and Cebu will operate daily, while the Sapporo–Manila route will also increase to seven times a week. Osaka–Cebu will temporarily rise to eleven times weekly during the holiday season.
The airline currently flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations, serving routes across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Cebu Pacific continues to make travel easy, affordable, and filled with the warmth that defines the Filipino spirit.
